John studied Fine Art at Bradford College of Art, W.Yorkshire, UK, graduating in 1991.
Originally from Manchester, he relocated to the Shetland Islands in 2003.
He has exhibited at The Islington Design Centre, London, National Media Museum, West Yorkshire, Musee de l'Elysee, Lausanne, and Bonhoga Gallery, Shetland.
He is currently working on a variety of personal projects. Alternating Shetland based subjects with street and travel based observational work exploring locations in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America.
